The similarity bewteen binary malware samples can be measured with locality based hashes. However, visualizing similarity relationships between samples of a large data set is not trivial. The task of the student is to represent and visualize relationships between binary samples as a graph, where nodes represent samples and an edge exist between two nodes if the similarity between corresponding samples is larger than a given threshold. The task is to develop a software which is capable to visualize the resulting graphs for different threshold values and to computa various graph metrics.
