In order to optimaze the throughput of the roads in cities and avoind traffic jams, adaptive traffic light control solutions are required. Instead of model based methods, the goal of this project is to develope mashine learning based algorithms to control the traffic lights. The implemented algorithms will be tested in SUMO simulation environment.
