In this project you will work on porting algorithms from the area of computer vision to quantum simulators and/or real quantum hardware. Quantum computers promise to solve a number of hard problems exponentially faster than classical hardware, therefore using them in computer vision can have huge implications in terms of efficiency of computation. The goal of the project is to familiarize with a number of state of the art algorithms in the field, possibilities to bring them onto quantum computer hardware/simulators, have an early implementation and testing of an algorithm of choice.
