As online education has become more relevant than ever, the significance of research addressing participation in online classes is unquestionable. Due to numerous technical factors, the quality of online education may suffer impairments, which particularly apply to multimedia shared by the lecturer. However, the perception of such visual impairments may depend on the size of the screen. The task of the student is to analyze and replicate the common visual degradation artefacts in multimedia shared via online education platforms, and carry out a series of experiments to investigate their perceptual differences on displays with various screen sizes.
